Beautiful Sunday

It's a gorgeous Sunday morning here in Ohio and I'm loving the view from where my new desk sits. Well new to me desk.

I finally got a real big girl desk for my writing nook and I'm hoping it will give me the room to spread out and get going on a couple of new ideas.

In the meantime, first round edits have begun (and I should be working on them right now) on the next Pinkerton Man story. I've also heard from the publisher that Crashing Waves is moving up in the line to be edited as well. SO! This means both stories will be releasing this summer!

For those of you who have purchased Island Paradise or Whispers, Rumors, & Lies . . . THANK YOU! It makes my day to look on line and see that another book as been purchased. Let me encourage you to leave a review if you have the time. All authors, but especially Indie Authors appreciate reviews. It really doesn't matter if it's only a few words or if you didn't like the story, tell us why. We want to write what you want to read. If you don't tell us, then we won't know. That's why reviews are so important.

May this day be full of sunshine and joy for you where ever you are.

Next week at this time, I will have completed my first book signing event of 2016. My banner, swag, table decorations, and books are all packed and ready to go. I am really looking forward to meeting the folks behind the North Iowa Book Bash and all the lovely authors I've talked to on line over the last year. It's hard to believe that yes we have been talking about this for a year and now it's only six days away. If you live in the Clear Lake, Iowa area, I hope to see you there. Please be sure to drop by my table and let me know that you follow my blog. I would love to meet you.

Until next time, remember "You are never too old to follow your dream!"

“⁂⁂⁓Whispers, Rumors, & Lies⁓⁂⁂”

“⁂⁂⁓⁓˞˞Now Available on Amazon˞˞⁓⁓⁂⁂”

Lucky Valentino didn't believe in love. It was nothing more than whispers, rumors and lies. His world was just fine with the men who passed by for a moment. Even when his brother Adam tried to convince him, he still didn't believe it. That is, until he saw an angel's silhouette in a window above the new dance club, Wings.

Angelo Martin moved to Phoenix to start over. He was tired of the whispers, rumors and lies that had plagued him for years. Wings was a chance at a new beginning and the last thing he ever intended to do was fall in love again. The club was a huge success, even with Angelo's rule about no sex in the club.

One dance between two strangers, made them question everything. One night of passion, changed their worlds forever. Could one broken rule make Lucky and his Angel believe that love was so much more than whispers, rumors or lies?

Thank you so much to those who have already purchased a copy of Island Paradise. I hope you are enjoying the story.

If you can please, take the time to leave a review, even a few words, it would be greatly appreciated. Much more than you know. Indy authors need reviews to get the word out about their books.

Posting on Goodreads is another way to help Indy authors. Not just me, but all Indy authors that you read. Adding Island Paradise to your to be read list or read list helps as well.

Things are moving right along for Whispers, Rumors and Lies as well as the next Pinkerton Man story - Home on the Range. Edits are underway and teasers will be coming soon!

Watch for a giveaway on Goodreads for a signed paperback copy of Paradise Island to start on April 12, as well as a Book Rhythm promotion on Facebook in April.

A special excerpt just for the blogs readers! Enjoy!

“I can tell. You’re a sticky mess,” Mike teased, plopping a large chunk of pineapple between his teeth.
I had no idea what he was talking about until he suddenly straddled my lap. Pushing me back, he grasped my hands in his, holding them firm to the blanket. First he ran the pineapple over my lips, then down the left side of my neck and back up the right side. Wherever he went, he left a trail of sticky, sweet pineapple juice in his wake and tiny little electric shocks to my nerve endings.
Getting a grip and laughing the whole way, I pushed him back on to the blanket. This time I was astride him. I grabbed a strawberry and crushed my lips to his. He moaned his approval, and I continued to deepen the kiss until we were sharing the strawberry and its juice along with the kiss. He tasted of spicy sausage, strawberries, and pineapple. Catching my breath, I sat up, causing our now engorged cocks to rub together. The sensation was so good, I couldn’t help pressing against him a little harder for a little more friction.
