I wanted to get back to you all and let you know what I thought of Tiffinie Helmer's new book...The Edge. I have to say this book gripped me from the very beginning. I have enjoyed each and every book in the Wild Men of Alaska Series by Tiffinie, but this book was amazing. Not only is there a wonderful sexy hero in the book but an amazing heroine too. It is the characters in this story that held me in place making me want to read more with every flick of the page on my Kindle. I literally could not put it down because I was afraid I would miss something happening to the people who were becoming very real to me. Cashe, Mel, Linnie, Ramsey, Sergei, Nicole and the kids all spoke to me of people that I would love to know and be a part of. This is a must read for anyone who loves a mystery and a romance and seeing someone overcome the worst that life has to throw at them. You can find the book on amazon.com under Tiffinie Helmer - The Edge.

Today an author friend of mine, Tiffinie Helmer released the next book in her series, Wild Men of Alaska. The book is called the Edge. You can check it out here www.TiffinieHelmer.com. I bought it today and can't wait to read it. I love her other books in the series. She writes amazing stories about beautiful men in the wilds of Alaska and the women in their lives.

I feel so much better tonight. I've managed to write and then type up three thousand words for Drifting Sands. I was so afraid my muse had left town on a train for somewhere other than Beaufort South Carolina. But it's back and I couldn't be happier. Can't wait to see where the story goes next!

It was cold and wet outside today but my heart was full thinking of my beautiful daughter celebrating her 17th birthday. I wish I could take the pain and the heartache she will more than likely suffer in this world. I'd give anything to keep her feeling safe and loved. Unfortunately our world isn't like that. People that we trust with our heart are often the ones who hurt us the most.

Happy 17th my wonderful Caitlyn, may you have many more without a broken heart than with one. And know this; wise words once said "This too shall pass." Even though it doesn't feel like it right now.

It's been a slow writing week but thanks to some of my fan fiction friends, I feel I'm back on track again. If you would like to try a couple of fan fiction stories here are two I highly recommend:

His Daddy's Eyes by SlashGalAgget at http://www.fanfiction.net/s/8655057/1/His-Daddy-s-Eyes. This is a fabulous Jasper/Edward story along with an adorable little baby boy named Matthew.

Also try The Red Hoodie by ant1gon3 at http://www.fanfiction.net/s/8477577/1/The-Red-Hoodie. This is a Edward/Seth/Jacob story.

Both are well written and tell a great story. And of course there is some lovely boy on boy lovin' too.

Also I want to send a Happy Birthday out to my son Joseph who is 23 today! Where has the time gone? He is the sunshine in my day and the joy in my heart.

Here in southwest Ohio, it's cold outside and snow flies through the air. I've been working on Drifting Sands today and dreaming of long walks in the warm sand of the Carolina beaches. Sounds so wonderful right now.

I also wanted to take a moment and thank everyone who purchased a copy of "A New Dream". I'm so happy to say that it sold 206 copies during the month of February. It is still amazing to me that my life has taken another turn on the road of life and I'm seeing my own dreams come true.

Hope you all have a blessed Sunday with your families and friends.
