Murder in New York is available now!

Murder in New York is now available for $2.99 at

Amazon US
Barnes and Nobles
iTunes
Kobo

Stiles Long and Lizzie Ferguson are on their most deadly assignment yet. Stiles could be on the trail of the murderer who got away on his first assignment with the Pinkerton Agency. Lizzie has been accused of murdering her own father.

Stiles spots a familiar face that causes emotions he's never had before. Lizzie has a an alibi for the night her father was killed, but she refuses to tell Stiles where she was or who she was with.

I enjoyed telling this story because we get to see a side of Lizzie that will surprise many. This new emotional side of Stiles is confusing for him, but opens new avenues to better understand him.

Happy reading,
CJ

Look what I have for you today!

The cover reveal for "Murder in New York"

Coming back to New York to see her ailing father, Lizzie Ferguson did not expect to find him healthy and newly married to a much younger woman. She, also, didn’t expect to connect with an old lover and childhood friend or be accused of killing her father. But, life has a way of knocking you to your knees when you least expect it.

Stiles Long had always regretted that the killer, from his first case as a Pinkerton Agent, had got away. Now, in New York it was happening again. The Hotel Astor Bar was a meeting place for men who enjoyed the company of men. And, some of them were being brutally murdered. When one of the suspects from the original case appears at the hotel, Stiles is torn between his desire to stop a killer and kiss the man senseless.

Two different cases, but some of the faces overlap from one to the other. Stiles and Lizzie are in a race to discover who the killers are before another body gets added to the count.

Release day is coming, May 27th, 2018.

Exciting Things Happening

This next week is going to be an exciting one. First off the cover reveal for my new release "Murder in New York" a Pinkerton Man Series book will happen on Wednesday, May 23rd.

Here's a sneak peak just for you lucky blog readers.

I absolutely love this cover and I hope you do too!

The official release date is May 27th (Happy Birthday to me!) and look for special pricing during the Blog Tour from May 27 thru May 29.

I've also began work on a new series that I'm very excited about. I posted about it some late last year, but life got in the way and I'm just getting back to it. The Knights Club will be a series of Novella sized books (25,000 to 30,000) about the men and women who work in a gay club. All with a steamy amount of sex and HEA's. This is my first try at labeling one of my works as erotica. Stay tuned.

Just as a side note, I'm now on MeWe and I'm really liking this social media site. I created a group called "Let's Talk Books". Please join in, if you would like.

Until, Wednesday,

New Regulations and Newsletters

Due to the new regulations coming to pass at the end of the month, I've decided to no longer produce a newsletter. My newsletters were few and far between and were not opened all that much. I've decided to let this go for now. So if you have signed up for my newsletter in the past, please be assured that I am destroying any lists with your email address on it.

I've also joined MeWe. I want to create a group where we can talk books and all things book related. My name is C.J. Baty on MeWe.

Coming very soon in the cover reveal for Murder in New York, the next Pinkerton Man book. I've got a release blitz coming later in the month as well. I'm very excited to get this book out to you. Here's the blurb for you to enjoy.

What's important to you?

Hello everyone,

It's been almost a month since I last posted and so much has happened. I hardly know where to begin.

I just finished a temporary work assignment that I've been on since mid February. I'm taking a week or two off before I begin another one. No one wants to be in an office this time of year.

Murder in New York the next Pinkerton Man story is finished and with the editor. It has a cover and it's amazing! (Thank you Select-O-Grafix and Kelly Abell) I can't wait for you to see it.

The blog is closer to being the way I want and I hope to have the first chapter of a free read for you coming this month as well.

Most importantly, I'm back in my Tennessee home with my daughter and her two new kittens. Adorable doesn't even begin to cover it.

I've been doing a lot of reflecting on my choices lately. Some have gone the way I had hoped, others not so much. Life is such an amazing trip. I don't want to waist a moment of it arguing over who owns a "word" or the decisions heads of state are making. All of it affects me and my family in one way or another but do I want that to be the focal point of my existence? Do you?

Will I ever understand why this world or the people in it behave the way it does, probably not. But I have to live here and I want my time here to reflect my concern and caring for those around me.

So, here's to you and yours today, whoever you are. May love and caring show itself to you in some way today.

Hugs,
CJ
